Nonlinear came to us with a working product and a design debt list longer than their roadmap. Two engineers had built the calendar; nobody had designed it.
On Pro, with two requests running at once, we split the work into two lanes. One lane took the product: onboarding first, because new users were leaving before they connected a calendar, then the dark theme, the command bar and the settings screens. The other lane took the story: a new homepage, product page and pricing page that showed the app instead of describing it.
Every product request ended with a Figma-free handoff: a Framer prototype plus annotated screenshots their engineers could build from. Marcus joined the weekly call; the rest happened in Slack.
Sixteen weeks, 61 requests. Onboarding completion went from about half of new sign-ups to roughly three quarters, and the site launched the same week as Nonlinear 2.0.

“They redid our onboarding, then our marketing site, then our investor deck. Same team, same Slack thread.”
